One of the Professional Organizers Newsletters I subscribe to is Jamie Novak's, Weekly Clutter Challenge. We have similar theories on organization and committing to a particular challenge each week. I just loved her creative uses for dryer sheets this week and thought I'd share it with you: Twelve Creative Ways to Use a Dryer Sheet For this week's challenge I thought you might find it helpful to hear about the creative uses for dryer sheets I've come up with through the years, You may have your own, I'd love to hear them! WET the dryer sheet and it will foam up, you can then: ¤ Wash or touch up sneakers. ¤ Clean greasy, grimy hands ¤ Dissolve soap scum from shower doors ¤ Clean baked-on food from a cooking pans. Place a sheet in the pan, fill with water, let sit overnight then clean as usual. DRY sheets can: ¤ Prevent musty luggage by tucking a sheet inside before storing. ¤ Collect pet hair by rubbing the area with a sheet dry sheet ¤ Remove stuck on beach sand from legs by running the sheet gently over your legs ¤ Eliminates static electricity from Venetian blinds. Wipe the blinds with a sheet of Bounce to prevent dust from resetting. ¤ Deodorize shoes or sneakers, tuck a sheet inside overnight ¤ Eliminate static electricity from your television or computer screens by dusting with the sheet ¤ Freshen the air in your car by tossing a sheet under the front seat ¤ Eliminate garbage can smells with a sheet in the bottom
